Pastor, faith-healer, author, and television presenter Chris Oyakhilome (also called Pastor Chris) is the creator of LoveWorld Incorporated. Pastor Chris: The Man

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, born on December 7 7 1963, in Edo State, Nigeria, was raised in a family that was a faith-based one, and was surrounded by loving and loving parents. He was the oldest of four children born to Elder T.E Oyakhilome, one of the pioneers of the Assemblies Of God Church in Benin City, and Angelina the matriarch of the Oyakhilome family, who imprinted her divine grace on her son from an early age.

Pastor Chris is blessed with two daughters, Charlene and Carissa Sharon. Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his education at Edo College. Then he was awarded a scholarship to go to Bendel State University, now Ambrose Ali University. There he earned an BSc. in Architecture as well as an honorary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. Ambrose Ali University was his first university. He received a call from God to join the ministry and serve the Lord.

While he was at university, the Man of God created what would become one of the largest churches around the world. He started an unassuming prayer group dubbed “Youth for Christ” which would become the most well-known organisation of its type on campus. Christ Embassy has strong presence in Pastor Chris’s homeland of Nigeria, South Africa and Canada. The church has two healing schools located in South Africa.

Music and Gospel Music are integral parts of worship. Pastor Chris recommends Christ Embassy Churches that a choir be taught through Loveworld Music and Arts Ministry. Many of these singing talents go on to have great solo careers under the direction of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.
