Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first son of the Oyakhilomes, being born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on the 7 th December 1973. He completed his primary and secondary studies at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. The university awarded him an BSc.

AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they are blessed with two children.

Chris Oyakhilome Ministries

While still in AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was in the AAU student program. He began his journey into the ministry while in AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship which is which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (YFC) was at the time known as the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship.

YFC increased in size, and became the largest campus organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the headquarters of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld is now home to millions of associates and followers across the world.

Oyakhilome In the context of the 2002 the miracles show, BLW became Africa’s most popular Christian ministry. They stopped airing this programme in May 2004, after the then President of Nigeria- President Olusegun Obasanjo declared that miracles shouldn’t be allowed to continue by churches.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma care International Foundation was established to improve the quality of life and health within local communities and across nations. It also encourages better emergency response in the case of emergencies and accidents.
