While in AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a pupil. He began to explore ministry while still in AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship currently Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was in the beginning known as Youths For Christ.

YFC grew and was the largest of the fellowships on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church’s main office. Believer’s LoveWorld is now home to millions of followers and associates all over the globe.

Through its 2002 environment for miracles program, BLW was the most prominent Christian television ministry in Africa. The program was canceled in May 2004 when the president Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria declared that churches should stop broadcasting miracles.

The ministry of Pastor Chris is split into four parts including publishing ministry, healing ministry television ministry, teaching ministry and television ministry. He created the healing school, the atmosphere for miracles and the Pastor Chris global prayer network from these ministries.

The Future Africa Leaders Foundation was founded to increase and investigate the potential for leadership of Africans. The foundation honors the achievements that these young leaders have made by presenting an annual ceremony called The Next Africa Leaders’ award. The Trauma Care International Foundation was founded to increase the health and life expectancy of local communities as well as nations. The foundation has provided more than 1000 first aid, safety, emergency response training. They have also trained thousands of police officers, teachers and caregivers as well as road transporters.
